SPECIAL MEETING OF THE COMMON COUNCIL

CITY OF HUDSON

MARCH 25, 2008

Meeting called to order by Mayor Jack Breault in the Council Chambers of City Hall at 7:00 p.m.

PRESENT: Mayor Breault, and Alderpersons Randy Morrissette, Dennis O’Connell, Lee Wyland, Scot O’Malley and Alan Burchill.

ABSENT: Alderperson Paul Radermacher.

OTHERS PRESENT: Devin Willi, Marty Jensen, Sue Schleif Gherty, Terry Gherty, Tom O’Connell, Eric Atkinson, Bob Staebell, Paul Larson, Dave Krupich, Pat Sherley, Lori Bernard, Kim Heinemann, Dave Selissen, Ann Majerus, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Jensen, Ted Jensen, Miles Jensen, Rebecca Jensen, Dale Willi, Tom Redner, Meg Heaton, Margaret Ontl, Jan Doonan, Betty Caruso, Tim Caruso, Carl Carlson, Jensen family members, and others.

OATH OF OFFICE CEREMONY FOR CHIEF OF POLICE MARTY JENSEN: Mayor Breault announced that recently appointed Chief of Police, Marty Jensen, would be given the oath of office by Municipal Court Judge, Susan Gherty. Chief Jensen was sworn in by Judge Gherty.

Mayor Breault stated his desire for 100% support to be given to Chief Jensen. Many group photographs were taken, including the candidates and current Council members, Police and Fire Commission members, and Chief Jensen’s family.

MOTION by Burchill, second by O’Malley, to adjourn the meeting. All ayes (5), MOTION CARRIED at 7:09 p.m.
